The Great Sneinton Library Read-In - Sat 5 Feb, 11am

SAY NO TO LIBRARY CHARGES

Join the National library read-in on Saturday Feb 5

What is a read-in?
A Read-In brings people together to show the need for public libraries and show that we disagree with local cuts to library services.
They will be happening all around the country on February 5.

In Nottingham, the Council is introducing charges for using library computers starting on Monday January 31.
They are reducing the book fund by ¼ - this means many new books won’t be bought.
They are changing opening hours. Central Library opening hours have already been reduced- there will be more reductions.
They are closing Carlton Road Library

We believe that:
·         Libraries are of real value to local communities like Sneinton,
·         Local libraries are important for local people
·         There is another way to pay for the economic crisis than by cutting back and charging for library services.

MEET OUTSIDE SNEINTON LIBRARY 11AM

Everyone welcome- Bring friends and family
